This is the ending speech of Charlie Chaplin‘s movie the great dictator. Charlie Chaplin wrote this speech itself and it is one of the powerful speechs I have ever listen to. Besides that, the whole movie was written, produced and directed byhimself in 1940 as an antI-Nazi comedy. From what I have heard, he was a pretty quite and serious guy in his personal life. The comedian Helge Schneider, well known in Germany, suprised me when I saw him in one or two interviews. This guy normally is completely unserious, whenever inveted. Nearly the same case adapts to Christoph Maria Herbst. Helge Schneider commented this hisself by saying that if you want to be a real good comedian, you need to have depth. I hope you find this video touching and inspiring!
